Pre/Post-Op Clinical Nurse – Feinberg Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) (Full-time, Day Shift)

Candidates must have at least two years of ICU, PACU, or ER nursing work experience.

This is a 0.9 FTE position, three 12-hour shifts per week, rotating day shift start times (5:30 am, 6:30 am, 7:00 am). Two weekend shifts are worked per schedule (one day shift and one night shift). One call shift is scheduled every third week. One summer holiday and one winter holiday are included.

• Advocate:
  • Practices in accordance with the patient-centered care model.
  • Develops an individualized age-specific culturally sensitive nursing plan of care for the patient that is based on the nursing process.
  • Incorporates the role of patient advocate into the plan of care.
  • Uses a team approach to develop and achieve daily patient-centered individualized care goals.
