Clinical Affiliate Precepting of Advance Practice Nursing Students

The Clinical Affiliate ("CA") is an unpaid partnership between North Park University and the CA. Clinical Affiliates are assigned a North Park University r and receive limited access to certain campus locations. They also receive an NPU , which must be worn whenever on campus.

The Clinical Affiliate will precept at least one Advanced Practice Nursing Student annually.

The Clinical Affiliate must currently be precepting a nursing student and have precepted an Advanced Practice Nursing Student at least once in the prior two years.

Clinical Affiliates are required to participate in various campus training events, including Title IX, Cybersecurity, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI).

The Clinical Affiliate receives certain perquisites, including:

• Library Privileges (both online and in-person)
• Access to Helwig Recreation Center
• The ability to identify themselves as a North Park University School of Nursing Clinical Affiliate
