American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Pediatric ICU position requiring a minimum of 3 years PICU/CICU experience and prior travel assignment history.

• Work in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) of a children's hospital
• 12-hour day shift, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment
• Every other weekend required (Friday-Sunday)
• Uses Epic EMR
• No floating or charge responsibilities required

• Active IL RN license required (permanent license only, no temporary or pending licenses accepted)
• BSN required
• Current certifications: CPR and PALS
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a PICU/CICU RN
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• COVID-19 vaccination documentation with both doses and lot numbers required (declinations not accepted)
• Flu vaccination required
• Two professional references required, with at least one from within the past year

• Provide critical care nursing to pediatric patients in the PICU
• Orientation sessions held every Monday
• Scrubs required in any color, kid-friendly designs welcome
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate as travelers
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
• RTO maximum of 10 days, with any additional time off made up by extending the contract end date
• Previous employees must have a gap of at least one year since their last assignment
• Returning travelers must have a gap of at least 45 days since their last assignment
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
