Travel RN - Neonatal ICU

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a NICU position requiring 2+ years of neonatal ICU experience and an active IL RN license.

• Active IL RN license required (no pending licenses accepted)
• Current certifications: BLS, NRP, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2+ years of NICU experience required
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required
• Proof of COVID vaccine required with no exceptions (booster not required)

• NICU unit within a Level 1 Trauma Center hospital
• Day shift schedule of 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• No block scheduling available
• Every other weekend required (2 weekends per month)
• Mandatory float facility; clinician may be required to float to any unit at facility discretion
• Uses Cerner charting system
• Provide nursing care to neonatal ICU patients in a high-acuity, Level 1 Trauma Center setting
• Any scrub color permitted
• RTO limited to 5 days max with no more than 2 consecutive days off
• No RTO approved on weekends, holidays, or the day before/after a holiday
• Local candidates accepted and preferred within a 75-mile radius of the facility
• May be floated outside primary area of competency using a team-based support model
• Lab work must be completed within 72 hours of accepting an offer
