As an Infection Preventionist you provide important information to the Clinical Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Warren Barr Lincoln Park
by ensuring staff receives the proper training to help prevent/spread infections in residents.

The primary purpose of your job position is to plan, organize, develop, coordinate, and direct our infection control program and its activities in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern such programs, and Standard IC 1:1 Comprehensive Accreditation Manual for Long Term Care Facilities of the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organization (JCAHO), and as may be directed by the Administrator, the Medical Director, the Director of Nursing, the Infection Control Committee, and other members of the facility's management to whom such persons report to ensure that an effective infection control program is maintained at all times.
