RN Nurse, Clinical Research Nurse
Pay: $38.00–$45.00/hour
Hours:
Tuesday–Thursday required;
Monday or Friday flexible | 8:00 AM–4:00 PM (24–32 hours/week, 3–4 days)

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to support clinical research trials focused on disease prevention, treatment, and population health. This part-time position combines direct patient care, clinical trial coordination, regulatory compliance, and research documentation.
Required Skills- Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be verified before submission.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Knowledge of clinical research protocols, Good Clinical Practices (GCP), and patient care procedures.
- Experience performing patient assessments, obtaining vital signs, and documenting medical histories.
- Strong documentation, data management, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic medical records.
- Coordinate clinical research studies and patient enrollment activities.
- Perform patient assessments, collect vital signs, document medical histories, and assist with specimen collection.
- Maintain research records, study documentation, and regulatory compliance.
- Monitor study progress, collect research data, and conduct quality assurance reviews.
- Collaborate with investigators, research teams, and medical personnel.
- Support IRB/FDA reporting, audits, inspections, and sponsor monitoring visits.
- Ensure compliance with study protocols, SOPs, and federal regulations.
- Previous clinical research or clinical trial experience.
- Phlebotomy and IV placement experience.
- Experience with Epic or similar electronic medical records.
- Familiarity with IRB requirements and clinical research regulatory documentation.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) – Required.
- Current, valid Illinois RN license – Required.
