Travel RN - Operating Room - Pediatric Cardiovascular

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Pediatric CVOR position requiring active IL RN licensure and prior travel assignment experience.

Requirements

• Active IL RN license (permanent, no EO, temp, or pending license accepted)
• Current certifications: CPR, PALS, and BSN
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required
• Previous travel assignment experience required
• 2 professional references required, at least 1 within the last year
• Proof of Covid and Flu vaccination required

Responsibilities

• Pediatric hospital Operating Room setting, specializing in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) procedures
• 10-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week, 06:30 AM to 05:00 PM
• Any Monday start date accepted
• Primary role is Circulator, with proficiency in Scrub role preferred but not required
• No floating or charge responsibilities required
• Uses Epic EMR
• Not suitable for first-time travelers, prior travel nursing experience is mandatory
• RTO max of 10 days, with any time off made up by extending the end of the contract
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate as travelers within a 50-mile radius
• Previous employees must have a gap of at least 1 year before reapplying
• Previous travelers must have a gap of at least 45 days before reapplying
• No block scheduling permitted
