Veterinary Assistant in Glendale, Arizona
Veterinary Assistants are the ones who like to get up close and very personal with the cranky cat or super happy dog and comfort each and every pet like they were their own. Assistants are not put into a box here at 43rd Avenue Animal Hospital, we want to teach you all the things!
Duties Include:
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures inside the clinic
- Follow Isolation and sick pet protocols
- Give vaccines and fluids
- Complete and maintain patient records
- Be able to communicate effectively
- Take radiographs and assist in ultrasound/echo
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the clinic
- Assist technicians and other assistants, including Doctors in care of patients
