Landscaping & Property Preservation Technician

Certified Solutions Inc. is seeking a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Landscaping & Property Preservation Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining residential, commercial, and vacant properties through landscaping, exterior maintenance, and property preservation services.

The ideal candidate is dependable, works well independently or with a team, and takes pride in completing quality work while meeting company, client, and municipal standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine landscaping services, including lawn mowing, edging, trimming, and weed control.

• Remove debris, leaves, trash, and unwanted materials from properties.

• Complete seasonal maintenance, including snow removal, salting, and leaf cleanup.

• Perform property preservation services, including securing vacant properties, changing locks, boarding windows and doors, and winterizing homes.

• Conduct property inspections and report damages, maintenance concerns, or unsafe conditions.

• Take clear before-and-after photos and properly document completed work.

• Safely operate landscaping equipment, including lawn mowers, weed trimmers, blowers, chainsaws, and snow removal equipment.

• Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicles in safe working condition.

• Pick up and transport materials, equipment, and supplies from local stores and vendors as needed.

• Load and unload equipment, tools, and materials at job sites.

• Follow daily work assignments and complete projects within scheduled deadlines.

• Ensure all work meets company quality standards and client requirements.

• Follow all workplace safety procedures and company policies.

• Assist with additional property maintenance tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in landscaping, grounds maintenance, general labor, or property preservation preferred.

• Ability to safely operate landscaping tools, machinery, and power equipment.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred.

• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.

• Strong time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Work Environment
