Key Areas of Responsibility
- Perform Inspection activities as needed.
- Verify material is properly identified.
- Provide and communicate break point.
- Identify and communicate nonconformance internally and between shifts.
- Monitor effectiveness of Quality Alert.
- Provide and communicate break point.
- Support problem solving activity.
- Escalate out of specification conditions per Control Plan requirements.
- Advise Department Supervisor/Manager of those situations that may pose a significant risk to the program, product assurance, facilities, employee safety or customer satisfaction results.
- Communicate and work adjacent with Quality Coordinator to reach Quality goals.
- Initiate actions to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformance relating to product, process & systems.
- Identify and record any problems relating to the product, process or system.
- Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through the appropriate channels and verify implementation.
- Control further processing and delivery of nonconforming product until the deficiency is corrected.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of automotive experience is preferred.
- Excellent written, mathematical, interpersonal and analytical skill.
- Proficient computer skills in Word, Excel, Power Point, and data entry.
- Working knowledge of statistics.
- Able to maintain confidentiality on products, services and processes.
- Must be flexible and able to work across all shifts as needed.

The pay range for this role is $36,700 – $43,200 per year. This role is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay. The pay range listed for this position represents a good‑faith estimate of potential compensation at the time of posting. Actual pay may vary based on factors such as experience, skills, and location. This range is subject to change in the future and does not guarantee a specific salary.
