Job Description:We are seeking an experienced Quality Analyst to ensure software applications meet business requirements and quality standards through comprehensive testing and defect management.
Responsibilities- Review business requirements and identify test scenarios.
- Develop test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test data.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
- Execute test cases and document results.
- Log, track, prioritize, and retest defects using Jira or similar tools.
- Collaborate with developers, Business Analysts, and Product Owners.
- Support UAT and release validation.
- Maintain test evidence, quality metrics, and test documentation.
- 7+ years of experience in software quality assurance or testing.
- Strong experience with manual testing and test case design.
- Knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle.
- Experience with Jira, Zephyr, Test Rail, or similar testing tools.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum delivery.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience testing web-based or enterprise applications.
- Experience with Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- API testing using Postman or REST clients.
- SQL for database validation.
- Experience with CI/CD and automated testing frameworks.
- ISTQB certification or equivalent QA training.
