Are you a dynamic, financially savvy real estate professional looking to take the next step in your asset management career? An established and highly respected real estate investment and operating platform is seeking a Senior Asset Management Analyst to join its team in Chicago. This role will play a key part in driving asset performance across a national portfolio of retail and mixed‑use properties.

You’ll work closely with Asset Managers, JV partners, and cross‑functional teams to optimize asset value and execution.

• Supporting all aspects of the asset lifecycle, from leasing to development, operations, and capital markets activity.
• Assisting in the preparation of annual business plans, budgets, reforecasts, and board presentations.
• Performing hold/sell, leasing, and valuation analyses to inform strategic decisions.
• Preparing investment memos and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Supporting joint venture reporting and approval processes, including lease approvals and capital tracking.
• Leading retail market research initiatives to guide portfolio strategies.
• Mentoring and training junior analysts, promoting best practices across the team.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Real Estate, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in commercial real estate, asset management, investments, banking, or private equity. (Retail experience is a plus.)
• Advanced skills in Argus, Excel, and PowerPoint; DCF modeling proficiency required.
• Deep understanding of real estate valuation, leasing strategy, and market fundamentals.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, think strategically, and communicate effectively across teams and with JV partners.
• A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset and collaborative approach to problem solving.
