Base pay range: $90,000.00/yr - $/yr
We are a Developer and General Contractor with a presence in the Chicagoland area. We focus on residential and commercial work and we are looking to build out the Property Management side of our business. With 20+ years of experience in development and construction, we are excited to expand into the Property Management and Leasing side of the business.

We are looking for a Director of Property Management to join our team. This is a critical leadership role that will oversee all aspects of property management, including the development and implementation of efficient processes and systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing and coordinating property management activities to ensure our properties are maintained to the highest standards, and ensuring the satisfaction of our tenants, owners, and investors.
Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and oversee the property management processes and systems to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Direct and coordinate activities involving the management of properties, including maintenance, rent collection, and tenant relations.
- Conduct regular inspections of properties to ensure they are in good condition and meet all health and safety standards.
- Develop and manage budgets for property operations and capital improvements.
- Negotiate contracts with contractors and service providers to ensure quality work at reasonable costs.
- Develop strategies to maximize rental income and minimize property expenses.
- Resolve tenant complaints and enforce rules of occupancy.
- Prepare and present reports on property operations and financial performance to senior management and property owners.
- Stay abreast of market trends and regulatory changes in the property management industry.
- Provide leadership and guidance to property management staff, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Construction, or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in property management within the residential space.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing property management processes and systems.
- Strong knowledge of property maintenance, rent collection, and tenant relations.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting and financial reporting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to handle tenant complaints and issues effectively.
- Strong knowledge of property management laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in property management software.
