Leasing Agent

At The Apartment Source, we don’t just lease apartments—we help people find what moves them. From first studios to skyline-view upgrades, we match renters to homes that fit their lifestyle, their rhythm, and their version of Chicago. We’re looking for a Downtown Leasing Agent who knows the market, knows how to connect with people, and isn’t afraid of a little hustle outside the standard 9–5.

• Lease apartments throughout Downtown Chicago, including high‑rises, luxury rentals, and neighborhood favorites
• Guide clients through the full rental process—from first inquiry to keys‑in‑hand
• Build and maintain strong relationships with property managers, landlords, and internal teams
• Create and share engaging social media content to promote listings, neighborhoods, and your personal brand
• Stay current on Downtown market trends, pricing, and building availability
• Manage your own pipeline, follow‑ups, and schedule with professionalism and urgency
• Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet client demand (because real life doesn’t stop at 5pm)

• Active Illinois Leasing Agent or Real Estate Broker License (required)
• High school diploma or GED (required)
• Previous apartment leasing experience strongly preferred
• Comfort and creativity with social media platforms (Instagram, Tik Tok, etc.)
• Strong communication skills—clear, confident, and human
• Self‑motivated, organized, and comfortable working as an independent contractor
• A genuine interest in Chicago neighborhoods and rental culture
