• Setting up and performing experiments.
• Maintains equipment and supplies.
• Maintain the mouse colony needed for experiments – setting up breeding cages, weaning mice and genotyping.
• Assist with developing data collection tools; building databases and general administrative support in the lab.
• Interact with students and other laboratory staff under the direction of the principal investigator.
• Provide technical and administrative support for a research project.
• Analyze and maintain data and/or specimens; conduct literature reviews; assist with preparation of reports, manuscripts and other documents.
• Perform other related work as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in a field relevant to the research being conducted.
• Relevant research experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge in relevant scientific field.
• Knowledge of research techniques or methods relevant to the lab – PCR and sequencing, WES data analysis, mouse handling and husbandry, genotyping of mice, cell culture, western blot, enzymatic assays, radioimmunoassays.
• Analytical skills, problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, organizational skills, verbal and written communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Minimum requirements:
  
  college or university degree in related field; < 2 years of work experience in a related job discipline.
