Starting from $65,000-$75,000 annually plus a monthly training incentive of $1,500
. Pay is based on location, experience, and qualifications. Monthly incentives after training vary and are based on restaurant profitability.

The Restaurant Leader is responsible for setting the strategic direction for their restaurant and must maintain operational standards and drive results through people development, sales, and profit growth. This role is tasked with teaching, modeling, and upholding Raising Cane’s culture standards for all crew members, customers, and partners.
The physical work environment includes a fast‑paced kitchen requiring prolonged periods of physical exertion such as walking, standing, lifting, and bending, and interactions with customers. It also involves indoor and outdoor work in varied temperatures and exposure to food products, allergens, industrial equipment, and commercial cleaning products that necessitate personal protective equipment.
Impact and Responsibilities- Ensure overall financial success of the restaurant, forecasting and budgeting.
- Ensure overall restaurant compliance with company standards, policies, and laws.
- Hire and terminate management-level crew members, including payroll processing.
- Create work and training schedules for crew members.
- Develop management-level crew members through performance management.
- Act as manager on duty, open and close the restaurant, and manage cash handling.
- Monitor profit and loss statements, develop and execute strategy in all areas of financial and operational performance.
- Enforce Raising Cane’s policies and standards.
- Use required tools, forms, and logs to support shift execution, document results, and take corrective action when needed.
- Deploy crew members during a shift and provide exemplary customer service.
- Utilize the reward and recognition program for the crew members.
- Authorize employee functions requiring manager approval (e.g., discounts, time‑clock overrides).
- Ensure cleanliness of the restaurant and that the facility is in good working order.
- Achieve and maintain training restaurant status.
- Achieve “meets expectations” or better metrics in all crew member and operations performance metrics.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
- Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple changing priorities.
- Self‑driven, flexible, highly energetic with strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively.
- Able to recognize problems, set goals, create plans, and convert plans into action to solve problems.
- Able to measure performance subjectively and objectively with high emotional intelligence.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and able to learn new systems quickly.
- Able to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and travel as needed for training.
- Professional public dealings consistent with Raising Cane’s policies and acting as a brand ambassador.
- 5+ years of restaurant or retail management experience.
- Preferred: new restaurant opening and local restaurant marketing experience.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
- Valid driver’s license.
