Job Summary

We are seeking friendly, dependable, punctual, and customer service-oriented individuals to join our team at the Bambu-Chicago location. Bambu is an Asian-inspired drinks shop offering a variety of Vietnamese desserts (CHE), smoothies, juices, teas, and coffees. You will build rapport with customers, answer questions about the menu, take orders, and prepare drinks. The ideal candidate is friendly, outgoing, and attentive to detail.

Responsibilities

Opening and closing procedures

Prepping ingredients to make drinks

Taking and fulfilling orders from in-person, phone, or delivery platform

Answering questions about menu or drink items

Entering orders accurately into the POS system, processing payments, and closing checks

Keeping the shop clean and organized

Qualifications

Bilingual in English and Vietnamese
Previous experience as a barista is preferred
Friendly and outgoing personality
Excellent communication skills
Ability to meet the physical demands of the position
Familiarity with food safety guidelines
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Team player with good communication skills
