The Starting Hourly Rate / Salario por Hora Inicial is $17.75 USD per hour. The Pay Range / Rango salarial is $17.75 USD - $26.65 USD per hour.

Target is looking for General Merchandise Experts who enable a consistent guest experience by ensuring product is set, in-stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor. The General Merchandise and Food Sales team leads inbound, outbound, replenishment, and promotional signing processes for General Merchandise areas of the store. This team conducts inventory accuracy, merchandise set-up and maintenance and pricing processes for all areas of the store.

Experts enable efficient delivery to guests by supporting pick, pack and ship fulfillment work.

• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs when they seek assistance.
• Thank guests and acknowledge their choice to shop at Target.
• Execute daily tasks assigned by leadership to support business priorities, including receiving products, restocking shelves, organizing the backroom, arranging merchandise, and putting up promotional signs for GM areas.
• If certified, operate power equipment to move merchandise or store fixtures.
• Execute processes such as changing prices, merchandise set-up and maintenance, and inventory accuracy as directed.
• Learn how operational procedures affect inventory management, store profitability, and product availability.
• Be knowledgeable about resources, products, and services available in the total store and in your area to solve issues for the guest and improve their experience.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance.
• Work in a safe manner; comply with safety policies, best practices, and training; report hazards and correct where possible.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier and digital fulfillment processes (picking and packing orders, or delivering pickup orders) while complying with relevant laws.
• All other duties as assigned based on business needs.

• Accurately handle cash register operations as needed.
• Climb ladders and move merchandise safely; may lift up to 44 pounds without assistance.
• Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays; reliable attendance required.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions while performing duties (Drive-Up, carryout, etc.).
• Ability to remain mobile during a shift; shift length may vary.
