At Screencastify, the Team Lead, Inside Sales is an exciting inside sales role with both day-to-day management of a small team of ambitious Account Executives and the immediate ability to also propel us into a new phase of growth within the corporate aka non-K12 sector. While our existing traction and brand reputation will set you up for success, this job will require a great deal of creativity, persistence, and entrepreneurship as the team begins to expand outside of K-12 and capitalize on this new and exciting segment of our business.
Your core goal will primarily be to manage the team day-to-day while also creating your own individual new business opportunities in new markets for Screencastify/Castify.
- Act as the day-to-day manager of the Account Executive team.
- Work your own full‑cycle deals from prospect research all the way through to close, while also helping the team work and close their pipeline of deals.
- Be a Screencastify evangelist and be able to articulate the big problems we solve for our users and customers every day.
- Beat your daily goals for reaching out to and connecting with prospects and future Screencastify customers.
- Conduct personalized, energizing solution demos.
- Measure and optimize the effectiveness of all stages of your sales process.
- Share best practices across the organization and help others grow from your experiences.
- Work closely and maintain effective communication with other departments, including Customer Success, Product, Support, and Marketing.
- Achieve quarterly KPIs and consistently hit targets for your personal book and your team’s goals.
- Want to simultaneously coach a driven team and sell directly at a fast-moving start‑up.
- Have at least 5+ years of proven experience as a successful software/SaaS inside sales professional, consistently meeting/exceeding individual and team sales quotas.
- Bonus points if you are currently employee #1, or have been before, and loved the “build” phase of that team.
- Possess a strong understanding of the SaaS sales market, including trends, challenges, and competitor landscape.
