Job Title:Insurance Producer

Location: Chicago, IL

Job Type: Full-time

Job Summary:
The Insurance Producer will be responsible for generating new business by prospecting, developing, and maintaining client relationships. This role involves advising clients on a variety of insurance products, including life, health, auto, home, and commercial insurance. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, a deep understanding of insurance products, and the ability to meet and exceed sales goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and generate new leads through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
  • Meet with clients to assess their insurance needs and provide customized solutions.
  • Present and sell various types of insurance policies based on client needs and preferences.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and ongoing support.
  • Assist clients with claims, policy changes, and other service needs.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, product offerings, and regulatory changes.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets and performance metrics.
  • Stay current on all company procedures, products, and services to offer the best advice and guidance to clients.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales, in the insurance industry.
  • Active insurance license in Illinois (or the ability to obtain one).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Goal-oriented with a focus on exceeding sales targets.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and driven to succeed.
  • Knowledge of various types of insurance products and coverage options.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and other software tools.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with cross-selling and upselling insurance products.
  • Bilingual (Spanish, etc.) is a plus.
