Position Overview:

Our client is seeking an experienced and driven Director of Business Development to spearhead our growth initiatives within the off-highway and truck industry. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in sales and business development, underscored by a proven track record of success within this niche market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategic plans to drive business expansion in the off-highway and truck industry.

• Identify and seize new business opportunities by building relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in the sector.

• Maintain and enhance a strong network of industry contacts to support business development and collaborative opportunities.

• Lead and motivate the sales team to develop and implement effective sales strategies that surpass revenue goals.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality services to our clients.

• Keep abreast of market trends and competitive activities to stay ahead in the industry.

• Craft and present compelling business proposals, presentations, and contracts to potential clients.

• Manage sales performance metrics, providing comprehensive reports to senior management.

• Represent the company at industry-specific events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance brand recognition and promote services.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.

• A minimum of 10 years experience in sales and business development in the engineering service industry, specifically within the off-highway and truck industry.

Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.

• Deep understanding of the off-highway and truck industry and its major players.

• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and industry partners.

• Strong leadership abilities with experience in managing sales teams.

• Expert in strategic planning and execution.

• Willingness to travel as needed for client interactions and industry-specific events.
