As a Sr. Carrier Sales Representative I, you are a key contributor to Uber Freight's business by generating and maintaining carrier relationships. You will be eligible to earn a monthly bonus, in addition to your base salary, in your first full calendar month and enjoy working in a fast-paced, sales environment.
What the Candidate Will Do- Establish relationships, negotiate, and develop carriers regularly via phone and email in order to develop core and dedicated carriers
- Ensure customer satisfaction and high service levels where freight is picked up and delivered on time using safe, reliable carriers
- Meet or exceed team financial and individual performance goals
- Develop knowledge of carrier supply and demand, spot market pricing, and factors that impact freight markets
- Carrier profile management- learn carrier requirements, needs, contacts and update carrier profiles regularly. Be an advocate for the carrier on all levels
- Acquire knowledge of freight network/lanes- know what internal freight lanes we run and find carriers that match these lanes
- Conduct quarterly business reviews with executive leadership at your carrier partners.
- Present performance metrics, discuss growth opportunities, and address any challenges or concerns.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
- 2-4 years of experience in carrier sales, logistics, or a related field.
- Track record of growing carrier/sales relationships in a fast-paced environment.
- Negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- 1-2 years of brokerage experience and/or related experience in transportation
- Bilingual/Multilingual skills are highly sought

Illinois:The target base salary for this position is between $54,200- $66,100
