Drayage/ExpediteAccount Executive
The Drayage/Expedite Account Executive role is a B2B Sales position responsible for identifying and connecting with existing and new customers for the services of Drayage, Transloading, Expedite and other transportation needs. This role is intended for a primary focus on sales to/with Freight Forwarders/NVOCC's. While this role is intended to grow our Drayage and Expedite network, the role will not be limited to selling within that mode only.
Cradle to Grave model for initial setup, with support and operations added as necessary.
- Identify, contact and close new relationships with potential customers in the Drayage and/or Expedite segment of the logistics industry.
- Grow existing customer relationships through a high level of customer service.
- Use data and internal guidelines to price and quote potential or existing business.
- Thrive in a fast paced, ever-changing business landscape.
- Respond to customer request in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide creative solutions to customers’ needs.
- Cradle to Grave sales experience
- Prior experience working as a broker with Freight Forwarders
- Prior experience in Drayage/Expedite or both
- Professional phone, email and in-person etiquette.
- Experience in strategic selling as well as cold selling.
- Attention to detail and organization.
- Adaptability and eagerness to learn.
We are seeking an individual with Drayage and/or Expedite sales experience, who would like to grow within this knowledge area as our team and organization expands. This hire will be a key early member to a pillar of the business, with additional growth opportunities ahead.
