Job Description

As a Payroll Territory Manager (PTM), you will prospect and present Auris Payroll solutions to small‑ and mid‑size merchants and businesses, ultimately closing deals within a fast sales cycle. You report to the Payroll Division Manager (PDM) and are responsible for explaining our value proposition via Atlas CRM, upselling current clients on other Auris products and services, and maintaining regular communication with the PDM.

You also train and coach Field Sales Representatives who report to you.

During training, the PDM will accompany you on initial appointments to train you on our short‑cycle sales process using Atlas, a tablet‑based CRM platform used for lead generation, sales presentations, on‑spot client financial analysis, and paperless contract processing. After the training period, you will schedule appointments and present payroll solutions to close sales in small‑ to mid‑size businesses, maximizing residuals on the business you bring in.

Responsibilities
  • Prospect new clients for our Payroll/HCM services.
  • Maintain client records in Atlas, including call notes and contact information.
  • Achieve minimum production requirements, including setting appointments that result in a win.
  • Continuously build knowledge of the product portfolio and industry developments.
  • Attend weekly team meetings and one‑on‑one sessions with leadership.
  • Train and coach Senior Product Advisors (SPAs) who report to you.
  • Provide status updates to the reporting PDM.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.
  • Successful completion of a pre‑employment background check.
  • Residency within the job location area.
  • At least two years of relevant experience.
  • Excellent prospecting, communication, presentation, and networking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Incentive‑driven sales hunter mentality.
  • Professional demeanor and impeccable integrity.
  • High sense of urgency and innate sales talent.
  • Enjoys cold‑calling and face‑to‑face interactions.
  • Accountable for measurable, high‑quality, timely results.
  • Ability to spend 50% of time in the field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least six years of relevant experience.
  • At least one to two years of supervisory experience.

Compensation and Benefits
  • W2 employment with medical, dental, life, and disability benefits.
  • First‑year professional base salary range $90,000–$105,000+ (uncapped weekly commissions, lifetime residuals, portfolio equity).
  • 401(k) with matching program.

Base compensation range: $0 – $0 (Acrisure’s estimate at posting time).
