Base pay range$/yr - $/yr
Responsibilities- Lead, develop, and manage regional sales teams and distributor/wholesaler partnerships to drive profitable growth.
- Own and manage the annual Sales Operating Plan (SOP) for the assigned region, ensuring alignment with company AOP and strategic priorities.
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies that meet or exceed volume, revenue, distribution, and profitability targets.
- Execute monthly sales forecasting and demand planning in partnership with Supply Chain and Finance to maintain healthy inventory levels and service.
- Establish regional pricing strategies and profitability goals; manage trade spend to ensure strong ROI.
- Ensure consistent execution of sales calls across new and existing on- and off-premise accounts.
- Identify and prioritize new account opportunities; oversee program execution to achieve targeted volume and distribution gains.
- Collaborate with distributor leadership to design and implement effective sales programs aligned with brand initiatives.
- Motivate, influence, and enable distributor sales teams by acting as a trusted company spokesperson and brand ambassador.
- Conduct sales meetings, business reviews, and product presentations with distributor teams and key accounts.
- Partner cross-functionally with Marketing on local activation, promotions, and brand-building initiatives.
- Work closely with Strategic/National Accounts teams to develop and strengthen key customer relationships.
- Conduct regular market visits to build relationships with key accounts, distributor leadership, and field sales teams.
- Coach, train, and develop Area Managers and field sales representatives to build a high-performance, accountable organization.
- Monitor KPIs, market trends, competitive activity, and performance metrics; adjust plans to maintain a competitive advantage.
- Manage regional promotion budgets; analyze quarterly orders, depletions, and performance to optimize results.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local alcohol regulations, as well as internal company policies.
- Provide clear, actionable reporting on regional performance, risks, opportunities, and forecasts to executive leadership.
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum of six plus years of sales experience in the alcoholic beverage industry
- Thorough understanding of the three-tier system
- Proven success in territory sales management
- Focused and aggressive sales personality, needing minimal supervision
- Hands‑on strategist with strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Results‑driven and self‑motivated
- Organized and detail‑oriented
