$85k base | $267k OTE | Uncapped | Remote (Nashville, TN)
READ THIS FIRSTThis is not a job for someone who wants to work inbound leads and run demos the SE sets up. We've tried that. It doesn't work here.
We need a hunter. Someone who builds pipeline from zero, calls executives who have never heard of us, and doesn't stop at "good enough".
If you hit quota at your last job by working leads marketing handed you, this isn't your role. If you built your own book and outsold the people around you, keep reading.
WHAT CANDID ISCANDID is the Salesforce-native operating system for mortgage lenders. CRM, point of sale, marketing, and AI in one platform. We replace Total Expert and the stack of tools around it, and typically cut a lender's tech spend by 60 to 70 percent. A top-30 lender ripped out Total Expert for us. The #1 loan originator in the country moved his team to us after 15 years on TE.
The product sells. We need someone who can get in the room.
THE JOB- Sell CANDID to mortgage lenders with 50 to 500 loan officers. Buyers are CEOs, COOs, CTOs, and whoever owns the CRM and POS decision.
- Build and own your pipeline through outbound. Calls, email, Linked In, conferences, your own network. Multi-thread 2 to 3 execs per account.
- Run discovery and demos with our Sales Engineer. Close.
- Log every touch in Salesforce. Weekly pipeline report every Friday. No surprises.
- $85,000 base
- 10% commission on new ARR, 12% above quota, +3% on multi-year deals
- Year-one quota: $1.5M ARR. That's roughly 12 enterprise deals.
- Pipeline bonus your first 12 months: $750 per qualified lead you source, $250 per qualified demo. Up to $32k on top of everything else.
- $5,000 the first time you close inside 180 days.
- Paid monthly, not quarterly.
At plan you make about $267k. Beat quota by half and you're over $350k. Do the basics and nothing else and you make $85k, and you'll know it by month four.
THE BAR- Day 60: 8 to 10 qualified leads in pipeline
- Day 90: 20 qualified leads, 2 to 3 in negotiation
- Qualified lead = a lender with 30+ seats, a Director or above engaged, and either an active CRM evaluation or a contract renewing inside 6 months
- Outbound floor: 30 targeted calls a day. Top performers do more.
Nobody has hit 20 yet. Our current rep plateaued want the person who reads that and gets annoyed.
YOU ARE A FIT IF YOU- Have sold CRM, POS, or marketing tech to mortgage lenders or banks. You know what an LOS is, what TE costs, and why a Director of Sales picks up the phone.
- Can show self-sourced pipeline from your last role.
- Treat activity as the price of admission, not the goal.
- Are money motivated and fine saying so.
- Need marketing to feed you.
- Think 30 calls a day is a lot.
- Want to 'learn the product for a quarter' before dialing.
- Salesforce, Linked In Sales Navigator, Apollo, Lindy, a demo environment, and an SE on every demo from week two
- Conference budget, 1 to 2 per quarter
- Direct line to the CEO. No layers.
