Sales Development Rep/SDR, B2B Sales, Inside Sales
At Inriver, we help brands deliver better product experiences — wherever their customers are. From the first product detail to the final purchase decision, we make product information work smarter.
We are now looking for a Brand Engagement Specialist to join our team in the United States.
About the roleWe’re creating a new role within the Sales organisation. It is a pipeline role for someone who is a natural in front of people. You’ll be a B2B brand ambassador whose currency is meetings. You’ll be the public face of Inriver at trade shows, on Linked In, and in the inbox, building real relationships with prospective buyers and turning them into qualified meetings for our sales team.
The output is the same as a traditional SDR: booked, qualified meetings. How you get there is different. You lead with presence, credibility, curiosity and personality, not volume and scripts.
Own the room k trade shows, conferences, and customer events. Draw people in, hold great conversations, and leave with meetings on the calendar.
Build the inriver presence on Linked In. Post consistently, comment thoughtfully, share what you’re learning, and become someone our market follows and wants to talk to.
Drive outreach. Use Linked In Sales Navigator, 6sense, and email to connect with target accounts and personas with relevant, human messaging. Book and set up meetings. Qualify interest, hand off to Account Executives with strong context, and keep the prospect engaged until the meeting happens.
Follow up after events. Turn every show and campaign touch into a conversation within days, not weeks. Work the tech stack. Log all activity in Salesforce, use 6sense intent signals to prioritize accounts, and use Sales Navigator for research and targeting.
Collaborate with Marketing on events, content, and campaigns, and with Sales on account targeting and feedback.
Learn our business. Develop a working understanding of PIM, product data challenges, and our customers’ industries so you can hold credible conversations.
We don’t expect you to tick every single box, but for this role we do need most of the following:
1-2 years of experience in sales (SDR/BDR, inside sales, or similar) or field marketing (events, trade shows, or similar)
Confident, urgently curious communicator who is comfortable starting conversations with strangers in person and online
Clear, personable written communication for Linked In and email Active Linked In presence, or a clear commitment to building one
Willingness to travel for events [25%]
Self-motivated, organized, and disciplined about follow-up
Coachable, with the drive to learn a technical B2B product
Nice to haveExperience with Salesforce, 6sense, or Linked In Sales Navigator
Experience in B2B SaaS, ecommerce, or product data
An existing professional network or social following
Qualified meetings booked and held Pipeline sourced from events, Linked In, and outbound
Post-event follow-up speed and conversion
Growth of inriver’s Linked In presence and engagement
