As a Security Officer – Commercial Front Desk in Chicago, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Day Time
Tue 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM
Fri 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM

What You’ll Do
  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities
  • Provide professional customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff while following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
  • Monitor building access and verify identification of all persons entering or exiting the premises at the front desk.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Maintain detailed records of security-related activities, incidents, and visitor logs as required by site procedures.
  • Communicate promptly with property management, Allied Universal management, and emergency services as necessary.
  • Assist with emergency response activities and/or evacuation procedures according to site guidelines.
  • Remain attentive and alert at the front desk, helping to deter unauthorized activity within the commercial real estate location.
  • Support general front desk administrative tasks as needed, such as handling deliveries or providing directions.

Minimum Requirements
  • Must have at least 2 years of security‑related experience.
  • Must provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) as required by the client.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Access control and/or badge system experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
