Security Officer - Morning - Part Time

Security Officer – Unarmed Property Patrol – Chicago, IL (Part‑time). You will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as commercial real estate. As a patrol security officer you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remain highly visible to deter incidents, interact with tenants and visitors, provide outstanding customer service, and support emergency response protocols.

Part‑time – $26.04 / Hour.

• Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or conditions to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.
• Assist visitors, tenants, and employees by providing information and directions as needed.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and access points to deter unauthorized entry.
• Document security‑related incidents and maintain accurate daily activity reports as required.
• Support emergency response protocols and assist first responders as directed by site procedures.

• Supervisory experience required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
