What You'll Be Doing
- Foot and mobile patrol assigned Cook County facilities to maintain a safe and secure environment
- Monitor parking facilities for suspicious activity, unauthorized access, and safety hazards
- Protect County property, employees, visitors, and vehicles
- Respond professionally to incidents, emergencies, and security concerns
- Complete accurate daily activity logs and incident reports
- Maintain a visible security presence while providing excellent customer service
- Enforce site policies and procedures while interacting professionally with the public
Requirements
Requirements:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid Illinois PERC Card
- 20-Hour Basic Security Training Certificate
- Valid Illinois Driver's License
- High School Diploma, Official Transcripts, or GED
- Good driving record
- Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening
- Strong communication and report-writing skills
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Professional appearance and dependable work ethic

- 2nd shift, and 3rd shift
