Qualifications- At least 21 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED
- Be able to pass a background check & drug test
- Detail-Oriented
- Professional appearance
To be considered, candidates should have:
- Valid PERC Card
- Valid Driver's License
- FOID Card (for armed positions)
- 20-Hour Unarmed Security Certificate
- 40-Hour Armed Security Certificate (if applicable)
- Provide a visible security presence at the health center.
- Standing for long periods of time
- Monitor entrances, exits, parking areas, and surrounding property.
- Greet patients, visitors, and staff in a professional and courteous manner.
- Conduct routine patrols of the facility and grounds.
- Control access to restricted areas and verify visitor credentials.
- Respond promptly to security incidents, disturbances, and emergencies.
- De-escalate potentially volatile situations through conflict-resolution techniques.
- Document incidents, accidents, and unusual occurrences in detailed written reports.
- Coordinate with local law enforcement, emergency medical services, and fire departments when necessary.
Enforce facility policies regarding safety, security, and visitor conduct.
Support special events, demonstrations, or public gatherings near the facility while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
