Reporting directly to the Manager, Work Equipment & Training, the Work Equipment Mechanic will be responsible for the disassembly, repair, modification, overhaul, remanufacture and troubleshooting of the railroad’s roadway maintenance equipment machinery and their various operating and control systems. This is a Union position. Starting pay rates may vary based on entry rates in the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
Performs other related duties as assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.
