Contract to Hire

• Perform on-site preventative maintenance for robots and charging stations
• Troubleshoot and execute onsite repairs including preparation and necessary equipment management.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
• Assist customers with handling non hardware related escalations onsite.
• Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used during visits.
• Adhere to safety protocols while working in manufacturing facilities or other environments.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in technology relevant to the role

• Prefer 1 year plus experience with hands on technical role.
• Familiar with basic electrical and electronic schematics is highly advantageous.
• Proficient with mechanical tools, meters, and electrical testing equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Reliable independent transportation to/from work locations throughout the market
• Access to a smartphone and/or PC to complete training and onboarding period (first 30 days of assignment)

• Curious and enjoys working on things — motivated to learn how systems work and solve problems hands-on.
• High energy, self-starter, with strong time management skills.
• Professional presentation with excellent communication skills in English (additional languages a plus).
• Dependable, with the ability to work independently and represent the company professionally at client sites.
• Comfortable working in an industrial/warehouse setting, with a strong “safety first” mindset.

Abacus has partnered with the leading provider of autonomous warehouse robots to expand their field services team in key markets across the United States. In this client-facing role, you will work hands-on with cutting edge robot technology, performing preventative maintenance and hardware repairs at warehouse locations throughout the market. This is a full-time (up to 40 hours per week) contract role, with potential to transition directly to our client after 90 days on assignment.
