Residential Service/Install Electrician

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrician to join our growing Electrical department. This role focuses on residential service upgrades, diagnostics, and generator installations, with occasional light commercial work. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to deliver high-quality service in a fast-paced environment.

• Perform electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting for residential systems.
• Install and upgrade electrical panels, wiring, and circuits according to code.
• Install and maintain backup generators and related systems.
• Ensure compliance with NEC and local electrical codes during all installations.
• Maintain accurate service records and communicate effectively with clients.
• Provide recommendations for energy efficiency and system improvements.

• Proficiency in electrical work, including conduit, wiring, and troubleshooting.
• Experience as a Residential Service Electrician with the ability to install and service panels, outlets, and fixtures.
• Ability to perform generator installations, construction tasks, and read blueprints.
• Skills in conduit bending, pulling wire, and running conduit.

• Ability to work independently and efficiently in residential environments.
• Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Work hours are Monday through Friday, 7 am to 4 pm, with the possibility of weekend work. The role includes being on an on‑call schedule, which is still being finalized. Work takes place in and around residential homes throughout the Chicagoland area and surrounding suburbs.

This is a Permanent position based out of Chicago, IL.

The pay range for this position is $52,000.00 - $65,000.00/yr.
