Water​/Fire​/Mold Crew Chief

Servpro is a leading remediation and restoration company that provides services to both residential and commercial clients.

Water/Fire/Mold Crew Chief will lead, perform, and support remediation and restoration services of fire damage, water damage, mold damage, storm damage, and commercial services. This can include demolition, cleaning, repairs, and other labor intensive activities.

SERVPRO of Logan Square/Humboldt Park offers:

• Competitive compensation and benefits

• Coordinate and perform mitigation/restoration processes while ensuring quality control. This is a hands‑on position.
• Supervise and assist with production activities which include loading of equipment/supplies into vehicles, worksite preparation, demolition, cleaning, equipment setup/breakdowns, and other labor intensive activities.
• Develop scopes of work and execution plans that are clearly communicated to restoration technicians.
• Assess project requirements and determine material and equipment needs
• Supervise production activities ensuring equipment and materials are being properly used and project timelines are being met.
• Document a detailed and accurate job file including floor plan sketches, measurements, photos and written summaries
• Manage labor and consumable item usage on assigned projects
• Communicate with restoration project manager and office staff on project progress and issues

• Prior supervisory experience required
• Must have experience in mitigation/restoration
• Valid driver’s license
• High school diploma/GED (preferred)
• Basic math skills are a must
• IICRC certification a plus, not required
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (i.e. crawl spaces, attics)
• Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects
• Ability to work with/around cleaning agents
• Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
