Overview

Responsibilities- This is a 100% travel position.
- Install, maintain, and operate wired, wireless, fiber‑optic, and microwave telecommunications equipment and systems.
- Understand and implement Mas Tec Communications Group Health Safety and Environmental Policies.
- Implement industry standards (OSHA, TIA
10‑48, NATE CTS, ANSI). - Climb towers and ladders at various heights.
- Conduct erection of various tower types.
- Off‑load material and inventory.
- Prepare and clean sites.
- Install new carriers on new build and existing towers.
- Assist in tower erection using helicopters, cranes, and gin poles.
- Assist in assembly of the monopole, all weld and knock‑down self‑support and guyed towers.
- Assist in antenna installation of microwave parabolic 1 to 15‑foot, VHF, UHF, cellular, and FM broadcast antennas.
- Assist in transmission line and installation of foam/air dielectric coaxial, hardline, and elliptical waveguide.
- Assist in installation of all aspects of site foundations, grounding, and conduits, with electrical installations where applicable.
- Serve as a mentor to new less experienced technicians.
- Complete other duties as assigned.

- Enjoy figuring out hard problems and hands‑on approach.

- Enjoy getting your hands dirty with your team.
- High School Degree.
- Minimum 4 years of tower experience.
- Ability to read, comprehend and carry out instructions per prints.
- Working knowledge of safety standards and regulations.
- Possession of PWSA certification is a plus.
- Must be able to climb towers, pick up 50 lbs., and work up to 12 hours.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
Pay: $25–$30 per hour.
