Job Description
The Journeyman Electrician will support residential, commercial, and industrial electrical projects, as well as service and maintenance work. Reporting to the Electrical Foreman or Electrical Superintendent, this role will perform new installations, troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, and conduct maintenance inspections across local job sites or without travel.
Responsibilities
- Perform electrical installations and wire electrical systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints.
- Install electrical panels and bend conduit.
- Test circuits and troubleshoot electrical issues.
- Complete repairs, preventive maintenance, and maintenance inspections.
- Ensure work complies with applicable electrical codes.
- Conduct safety inspections and follow safe work practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in electrical installation and maintenance.
