Monday‑Friday 9am – 5pm

The Home Visitor (HV) promotes the successful growth and development of the child and teen parent. The HV initiates and maintains regular, long‑term contact and support with families. Activities primarily occur in the family home; each visit should last at least one hour. Interventions are family‑centered, strength‑based, focused on building trust, strengthening parent‑child relationships, improving the home environment, and increasing problem‑solving and advocacy skills.

The HV also assists families in establishing and pursuing goal plans, and assesses the child’s normal growth and development.

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
• Experience working with or providing services to children and their families
• Ability to establish trusting relationships
• Acceptance of individual differences
• Experience and humility in working with culturally diverse families
• Knowledge of infant and child development
• Willingness to build reflective capacity
• Infant mental health endorsement preferred
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) – required
• Reliable transportation – required
