Job Description
IN2
WORK (I2W) is a vocational training program opportunity for people who are currently incarcerated. The IN2
WORK program aims to help reduce recidivism by providing students with the opportunity to learn transferable, foundational food service and warehouse job skills through a comprehensive curriculum requiring classroom and hands‑on training. Students receive a nationally recognized certification upon completion of the program, a key differentiator when looking for employment after release. The main purpose of IN2
WORK is to teach students how to function in a workplace setting and work as a team, leading to an increase in public safety and a decrease in future victimization. Students learn accountability and responsibility through disciplined classroom and hands‑on training. By building competent and confident graduates, I2W set students up for success upon reentry.
