Overview

As our Senior Full Stack Product Engineer, you'll be one of the early engineers shaping both the technical foundation of our platform and the product itself. You will work across the entire stack, from designing React-based interfaces that delight our users, to implementing robust and scalable Python backends. If you're motivated by a fast-moving environment and relish the opportunity to help define not just our codebase but also our culture, this is the role for you.

What

You'll Do
  • End-to-End Product Ownership:
Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to conceptualize, build, and iterate on features from initial idea to production release.
  • Full Stack Development:
Write clean, efficient, and testable code in both front-end (React) and back-end (Python) environments.
  • Workflow Automation & LLM Integration:
Leverage your knowledge of workflow automation and Large Language Models to design and implement intelligent workflows that enhance productivity in the insurance industry.
  • Scalability & Performance:
Ensure our platform is stable, scalable, and optimized for growth—establishing best practices and guiding architectural decisions.
  • Collaboration & Mentorship:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, providing technical guidance and mentoring junior developers.
  • Rapid Iteration:
Actively contribute in a startup environment by testing hypotheses quickly, learning from failures, and celebrating successes.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on full stack or product engineering roles.
  • Front-end:
Proficiency in React (hooks, context, state management).
  • Back-end:
    Strong knowledge of Type Script/Node and/or Python/FastAPI.
  • Workflow Automation:
Familiarity with building or integrating workflow automation tools.
  • LLM

    Experience:

Some background in working with Large Language Models (e.g., GPT-based systems), natural language processing, or AI-driven features.
Ideal Qualities
  • Startup Mindset:
Eager to wear multiple hats, learn quickly, and iterate rapidly.
  • Collaboration

    Skills:

Comfortable working in a team environment, giving and receiving feedback, and facilitating effective communication across disciplines.
  • Adaptability:
Able to pivot as needed when priorities change or new insights emerge.
  • Craftsmanship:
Passion for writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code, with an eye for continuous improvement.
Nice to Have
