The Software Solutions Engineering Tech Lead is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of the business. The role creates robust and scalable software applications that streamline various processes within the insurance domain, such as policy management, claims processing, and risk assessment. They understand business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, conduct code reviews, and implement innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.

• Designs, develops, tests, and maintains software applications and systems related to the insurance industry.
• Provides technical leadership to junior developers through mentoring, code reviews, and promoting best practices.
• Architects scalable, secure, and maintainable software systems; makes decisions on technologies, frameworks, and infrastructure.
• Analyzes complex technical problems, troubleshoots issues, and implements fixes.
• Stays abreast of latest technologies and introduces innovative solutions.
• Documents software designs, technical specifications, and development processes; ensures compliance with regulatory standards.
• Oversees integration of software systems, platforms, and third‑party services.
• Conducts automated and manual testing to ensure quality and reliability.
• Improves software development processes, identifies bottlenecks, proposes improvements, and implements tools.
• Collaborates across product, QA, and infrastructure teams; estimates project timelines and tracks progress.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software or application development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).

Target salary range: $100,000 - $125,000 annually. Full‑time roles eligible for bonuses and benefits. Additional benefits include paid time off, company holidays, parental leave, mental health services, and more.
