Salary Range: $85,000 - $120,000 & equity

• As an Engineer on our team, you’ll help build both internal and external-facing tools that support message and creative generation, strengthen our media monitoring and survey capabilities, and synthesize our institutional knowledge into strategic insights for clients. We value in-person collaboration and expect employees to work regularly from our Chicago office.   We’re hiring for multiple roles and reviewing applications on a rolling basis—if the posting is still up, the position is still open.

• Develop and extend the features of our existing products.
• Work closely with other engineers on staff to engage in the development of unit tests, code review and tool stability.
• Independently manage tool and feature development, including working with clients and staff to gather feedback.

• 2+ years of experience.
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience utilizing and deploying LLMs.
• Experience with databases, APIs, and infrastructure
  
  Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with version control systems.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
