In the NOCD app, Members can quickly access and schedule live, face-to-face video therapy sessions with our national network of licensed Therapists that specialize in Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy (ERP) - considered the "gold standard" in OCD treatment.
Opportunity OverviewNOCD is seeking an experienced iOS Engineer to help scale our mobile platform and expand access to effective OCD treatment. You’ll work closely with engineering leadership, product, design, and clinical teams to deliver high-quality mobile experiences that directly support patients and therapists.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership, and wants to build technology that makes a meaningful impact in people’s lives. You will lead feature development in Swift
UI, influence architectural decisions, and help strengthen our mobile foundation as we grow.
- 3–5 years of professional iOS development experience
- Experience shipping and maintaining production iOS apps
- Strong proficiency in Swift
- Deep hands‑on experience with SwiftUI
- Comfort with modern async patterns: async/await, Combine
- Ability to work independently and move features from concept to production
- Solid understanding of mobile architecture, performance, and testing best practices
- Clear, effective written and verbal communication
- Experience working in healthcare, digital health, or building HIPAA‑compliant features
- Familiarity with video/WebRTC (especially real‑time communication experiences)
- Experience working at a startup or on a small, highly collaborative team
- Objective‑C experience is a plus
- Build and improve patient‑facing mobile experiences used during ERP therapy
- Enhance clinician tools and in‑session features that support high‑quality care
- Implement and optimize real‑time video and communication components
- Improve app performance, reliability, architecture, and long‑term maintainability
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and clinical teams to solve meaningful user problems
- Help shape mobile engineering practices, patterns, and code quality as the team grows
