Reporting to the Sitecore Development Manager, this role will primarily involve hands‑on development of front‑end solutions in React, Next.js to support Sitecore XM Cloud and deep understanding of best practices in developing and enhancing front‑end experiences using Sitecore as a CMS. The ideal candidate will own front‑end delivery, partner closely with Product Owners, Product Designers, Application Development teams, customers, internal Business Partner Management and PMO functions, nurture and grow a high‑performing team, and demonstrate a track record of building and delivering products.

They must have strong knowledge of React, Next.js, web application development with a CMS (preferably Sitecore) and must follow all process and standards in a fast‑paced agile environment.

• Participate within a cross‑functional product team to develop and deploy production‑quality code.
• Build reusable libraries and software components to accelerate delivery.
• Work closely with Sitecore Development Manager, other Sitecore developers, full‑stack engineers, contractors, Product owners, content authors, and analysts to deliver quality technical solutions.
• Develop and champion modern software development best practices and concepts to a technical audience and business stakeholders.
• Lead design, development, and documentation of full‑stack application software; evaluate third‑party software products for integration as needed.
• Provide timely and accurate updates to stakeholders.
• Participate in the full software development life cycle including architecture design, writing documentation and unit/integration tests, identifying issues and resolution, writing clean code, conducting code reviews, and mentoring other engineers.
• Scope, architect, design, develop, build, and release robust and scalable applications.
• Explain and discuss technical concepts and methodologies with colleagues and clients from other disciplines.
• Stay on top of technological advancements in Sitecore and their benefits to HUB.
• Be a positive influence and contributing team member.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and other functional team meetings.
• Provide accurate estimates for future projects or requirements based on high‑level requirements.
• Ensure all key deliverables are done timely with maximum quality.
• Understand the purpose of each exercise and feel comfortable making decisions and asking questions that advocate for value and drive solutions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, a related field or equivalent work experience.
• 8+ years of application development experience.
• 2+ years serving as team lead (or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of front‑end web development languages and tools:
  React
  
  JS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Type Script, Tailwind CSS, etc.
• Strong computer science fundamentals: automated testing, object‑oriented programming, performance complexity, and implications of software architecture on performance.
• Well versed in front‑end design and architecture trade‑offs.
• Experience as a front‑end developer for Sitecore’s headless offerings like XM Cloud, Sitecore hybrid headless JSS.
