Python Engineer; Data

An opportunity with a diversified, Tech-Led Firm in Chicago trading on major financial markets around the world. This role includes developing Python based research tools, identifying new trading opportunities and help build a state-of-the-art Research & Data Delivery Platforms.

Here's a little bit of what they're looking for:

• Develop, maintain, and support a Data Delivery & Research Platform.
• Design and architect distributed data systems.
• Test code and actively participate in code reviews.
• Troubleshoot time-sensitive production issues.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years development experience with Python.
• 3+ years of experience with SQL databases.
• 2+ years of experience developing distributed systems.
• 2+ years of experience with AWS development.
• Strong verbal and written communications.
• Professional experience with financial reference data and/or building a Security Master.
• Professional experience with traditional financial tools (e.g. Fact Set, Bloomberg, etc.).
• Professional experience with Linux operating systems.

Target base salary for this role is $150K based on varying factors.
