Developer, Software Engineer, Software Development

Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Chicago, IL/Dallas, TX. You will lead and deliver complex development projects, including RxClaim enhancements and modern RPG programming.

Rate Range: $49/hour to $64/hour; the rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• Design, develop, and maintain applications on AS400 using Synon and modern RPG, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Lead development efforts for RxClaim enhancements, including customization and integration with existing systems.
• Perform coding, debugging, and troubleshooting to resolve complex technical issues and optimize application functionality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable, secure solutions.
• Ensure adherence to best practices and standards in AS400 development and documentation.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers on AS400 and Synon technologies.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 8–10 years of experience in AS400 development with strong Synon and modern RPG expertise.
• Proven experience in RxClaim development and customization on AS400 platform.
• Strong coding, debugging, and troubleshooting skills in Synon and modern RPG programming.

Pay Details: $49.00 to $64.00 per hour
