Being a Senior Software Engineer at iManage Means…

You will play a key role on a team responsible for supporting iManage’s core platform on the API Gateway team. In this role you will be at the center of the development team with responsibility and control over routing, rate limiting, and onboarding of new services to the iManage Cloud. You will have the opportunity to work on modern technologies such as Java, Docker, Kubernetes, and more.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement new architectural patterns to help the iManage Work family of products scale to meet current traffic demands and future growth.

• Collaborate within cross‑functional engineering teams and peer teams to build integrated solutions.

• Keep developer productivity and software quality high by using innovative backend tooling.

• Communicate, document, and present to technical and business audiences.

• Continuously learn and improve within the company and share knowledge with colleagues globally.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience building software or applications.

• Proficiency in one or more of Java, Golang, and Python.

• Proficiency with relational database systems and No

SQL systems.

• Thought leadership and design skills in key technology areas such as high‑transaction systems, micro‑services based distributed architectures, fault‑tolerant designs, and data and system security.

• Experience with Linux as a development and runtime environment.

• Knowledge of secure coding and design practices (including threat modelling) is a plus.

• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and build management; experience with Docker is a plus.

Salary

US annual base salary range: $110,000–$150,000. Individual compensation depends on qualifications, experience, and location. Additional compensation may include bonuses and benefits.
