Key Accountabilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise‑grade applications using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.

• Implement event‑driven architectures leveraging Apache Kafka for real‑time data streaming and messaging.

• Develop, configure, and optimize Spring‑Kafka integrations to ensure reliable and high‑throughput message processing.

• Participate in architectural discussions, performance tuning, and scalability improvements.

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design RESTful APIs and integrate with other microservices.

• Ensure best practices in code quality, testing, and deployment.

• Monitor and troubleshoot production systems to maintain high availability and performance.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional experience building large‑scale, real‑time cloud systems.

• Strong programming and debugging skills in Java.

• Proficiency with Spring, Gradle, Spring Boot, and Spring‑Kafka integration.

• Experience designing event‑driven architectures with Apache Kafka.

• Solid understanding of microservices, REST APIs, and distributed systems.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Strong problem‑solving, debugging, and analytical skills.

• Desirable: experience with large complex codebases, OpenAPI/Swagger, Dynamo
