• Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers with deep experience in distributed microservices, full stack systems, and regulatory solutions.
• Stay on top of tech trends, experiment with new technologies, mentor engineering peers, and occasionally code or evaluate code.
• Collaborate with product managers to deliver robust cloud‑based solutions that empower millions of Americans to achieve financial empowerment.
• Utilize programming languages such as Java, Python, SQL, Node, Go, and Scala, and work with open source RDBMS, No
  
  SQL databases, container orchestration services, and a variety of AWS tools and services.

• Bachelor’s Degree
• At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience (internship experience does not apply)
• At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud)

• Master’s Degree
• 7+ years of experience in Java
• 2+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service
• 4+ years of experience in open source frameworks
• 2+ years of experience in Agile practices

Candidates hired in Chicago, IL will receive an annual base salary in the range of $175,800 – $200,700. This role is also eligible for performance‑based incentive compensation, including cash bonus(es) and long‑term incentives.
