Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Java Developer with expertise in Snowflake and a background in finance to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects in a hybrid work environment, collaborating with a team of skilled professionals. The ideal candidate will have strong Java full-stack development skills, proficiency in Snowflake, and experience in the finance industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Utilize Snowflake for data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehouse development.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and deploy robust software solutions.Ensure the scalability, performance, and reliability of Java applications and Snowflake data pipelines.Utilize best practices and industry standards in Java development and Snowflake implementation.Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in Java development and Snowflake architecture.Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers as needed.Required Skills:
8+ years of experience developing and maintaining Java-based applications, utilizing full-stack development methodologies.Strong proficiency in Java full-stack development.Experience with Snowflake for data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehouse development.Background in finance or related industries.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.Knowledge of other programming languages and frameworks.Certification or training in Java development or Snowflake.Familiarity with agile methodologies and practices.#J-18808-Ljbffr
